What you need to install free fonts in Windows
1. Download free fonts from these sites (Generally Free True Type or Open Type)

2. Microsoft Windows Operating System
Fonts are used when you add title and journalings to your digital scrapbooking. Generally speaking, the fonts on your operating system will be too serious. You could install more fonts to create a more stylish digital scrapbooking. Please follow the instructions below to install the free fonts downloaded from the above web sites.
Step 1: Get font files
Extract the compressed file and get all the *.ttf or *.otf font file in a folder. Note that Open Type fonts may have *.ttf or *.otf extension. Both of them only require ONE file to install and use.
Step 2: Go to Control Panel and Open Fonts folder
Click the Start button and select Settings > Control Panel, then locate Fonts folder and double-click to open it. You will see there are already many fonts installed in your WIndows system.
Step 3: Find Install New Font command
Open the File menu in the far right corner and click Install New Font command, you will get the box as below:

Step 4: Locate and install selected fonts
Locate your font files in the folder you have just extracted to: select Drive first and locate the folder. If there exist fonts under a folder, all the supported fonts will be displayed in the list. Next, select the fonts you want to install. Finally, click OK to install free fonts.
In a moment, you fonts will be installed. Now you can use these free fonts in your digital scrapbooking software. Go to select a digital scrapbook software to start now.
